Extended product lifespan

By choosing this product with a second life, you avoid the production of new furniture and contribute to a more efficient use of existing materials.

Ahrend

1896 – present

Workspaces that evolve with their time.

Ahrend is a Dutch workspace furniture brand that has been evolving alongside office, learning, and public environments since 1896. Within the design field, the brand is known for a clear and functional approach, where usability, sustainability, and spatial calm are central.

Ahrend originated in Amsterdam, where Jacobus Ahrend founded the company in 1896; building on this long history, the brand has become a well-established presence within Dutch work culture. Its design language is generally restrained and systematic, with a strong focus on ergonomics, modularity, and furniture that can adapt to changing work environments. Ahrend works extensively with desks, seating, meeting solutions, and architectural workspace elements, often driven by a technical and circular design vision. Within this context, designers such as Friso Kramer, Marck Haans, and Ben van Berkel have also contributed to its identity, positioning the brand clearly between industrial design and contemporary workspace design.

Specifications

Is your project still under development but would you like to secure certain furniture already?

The availability of second-hand furniture is highly variable, as it cannot simply be produced or reordered. This can be particularly challenging if you want to secure specific furniture for a project, especially when the project is still under development and there is no space available for storage.

We have the solution!

Reserve your furniture today and we will hold it for the period you need. You only pay the storage cost in our warehouse. Once your project is ready for delivery, we release the furniture and you can proceed with the purchase.
