Lauriana Armchair design Afra and Tobia Scarpa - black leather / black plastic sled base
3 in stock
The Lauriana armchair, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia in 1978, is a distinctive example of 1970s Italian design. The chair combines a strong geometric base with soft, rounded forms and generous seating comfort.
This example is fully upholstered in black leather. Its broad armrests flow naturally towards the high backrest, while the loose seat cushion softens the chair’s otherwise solid and architectural volume.
The combination of generous proportions, quality upholstery and understated lines makes the Lauriana equally suitable for residential and professional interiors. The black leather gives this particular example a timeless and highly versatile appearance.
A distinctive vintage armchair combining B&B Italia’s functional approach with the refined design language of Afra & Tobia Scarpa.
