Sitzbock Stool design Rudolph Schelling Webermann - grey felt / white plastic four-leg
- Wilkhahn
6 in stock
Wilkhahn Sitzbock high stool, designed by Rudolph Schelling Webermann, with a grey felt seat on a white plastic frame. Its distinctive shape gives the stool a striking silhouette, with a construction that creates a clear inverted V-shape when viewed from the side. The broad plastic structure extends from the seat towards the floor, giving the design a recognisable, almost sculptural appearance, while the soft grey felt creates a contrast with the white plastic. With its unusual form, the Sitzbock is more than a conventional stool and can be used both as a seat and as informal support. The design works well in informal work and meeting areas, canteens, lounges and other spaces where a more playful seating solution is appropriate. Please note: do not stack.

Movement as part of design
Wilkhahn is a German design brand focused on office furniture, with a strong emphasis on movement, ergonomics, and architectural clarity. The brand combines technical innovation with a precise and understated design language.
Wilkhahn was founded in Germany and has developed into a reference in ergonomic and movement-oriented office design. The brand is known for its research into dynamic sitting, where movement is integrated into the mechanics of seating. This approach led to iconic models such as the FS-Line and ON, in which three-dimensional movement plays a central role. The design language is structured and constructive, with a clear emphasis on structure and technical logic. Typologies such as office chairs, conference seating, and tables are designed as instruments that support both use and interaction. Materials such as aluminum, plastics, and upholstery are carefully applied, with attention to durability and long lifespan. The designs combine technical precision with visual calm, fitting naturally into work environments where flexibility and movement are key.
