.03 Design Chair design Maarten van Severen - grey plastic / aluminium four-leg
2 in stock
The .03 chair was designed as an extremely reduced seating object in which form and construction are brought back to their essence. The chair consists of a slender seat shell resting on a lightweight aluminum base.
The shell has a thin and linear profile that subtly adapts to the movement of the body. Thanks to the integrated flexibility in the backrest, a slight spring is created while sitting, increasing comfort without disturbing the minimalist design. The base provides stability while maintaining a visually light appearance.
Within Contemporary design, the chair reflects the design philosophy of Maarten Van Severen, in which simplicity, precision and ergonomic logic are central. The design demonstrates how minimal form can be combined with technical refinement.
The chair is often used in dining areas, meeting rooms and architectural interiors where a clear and restrained design is desired.
